What to do about online dating, meeting them in person, the motions of being apart, what happens when you dont speak etc.

This has been going on for me for 4 yrs.

I met my boyfriend online and we've been together for a year and 7 months so far. I was able to visit him this past June and stayed with him for 3 weeks. It was the first time meeting him and I just got back a few days ago. It's been really hard on us both because the entire time we've been together, we've wanted nothing more than to just be with each other in person. Unfortunately, we're both still in school and he lives too far away for me to drive or take a plane to see him on a regular basis. We have plans to move in with each other after school but it's really hard trying to make it through every day after being intimate with him those 3 weeks. I wish nothing more than to hold him in my arms and give him kisses but we're meant to be with each other so we'll find a way to work through a few more years.
