Does anyone else ever run into this problem?
I think that I must detach myself emotionally when apart in order to keep from feeling sad or lonely. I keep myself busy with activities and work and such. But then when we're together in person for 3-5 days, it often takes me a day or two to feel intimate again.
I couldn't agree more...... It's so hard to go from one extreme to the other, and because you only have a limited time together you kinda feel pressured.... and once your back to your normal self then you have to split again......
I really know what you guys are talking about and I am happy I am not the only one who feels it this way! My boyfriend was always confused when I was trying to explain him that I need some time to get used to him again. I mean I am alone for a month or longer and then I need some time to feel comfortable with him again But it usually takes me only a day or half a day to feel ok (which is annoying anyway because we visit each other only for two or three days).
