I live in NYC and my wife lives in Puerto Rico. We met 5 years ago when she was living in New-York for a few years. She had to go back, and we knew it from the beginning. So before she went back, after 2.5 years together we got married. And for the last 2 years or so we have been doing the LDR thing. This is not fun everyday but on the other hand it gives us both some time to do some things we want to accomplish before starting our family. I am planned to move back to Puerto Rico in January next year, and we talked about trying to have a baby as soon as I get there! We see each other once every 4-5 months and send text and mail (especially her I have to say). I simply wanted to let you know that YES long-distance relationships CAN work. Good Luck :-)<br>
