Some creep IMed me one day last June on AIM asking who I was (joke about the creep part :p). I asked who they were. I\'m not sure how he had my screenname, but his name was Josh. Normally I don\'t talk to strangers more then \"Hey, what\'s up, bye,\" but I talked to him for a very long time that first time. I thought oh a random person I can tell all my problems to (because I was having issues with my boyfriend at the time). He was enjoyable to talk with, he tried to help me, and he was also a soldier in Iraq. We started talking more and more, but no way I would admit that I was starting to have feelings for him. I always thought online dating was not for me, and so did he. Around August we both kinda got the hint that we liked each other, but we thought it was crazy cuz it\'s not like we would ever meet. Too far away, long distance, didn\'t know if we would even like each other in person. I broke up with my boyfriend cuz that was not working well. Well Josh got back from Iraq in November, and we started talking on the phone every day (he did call me a couple times from Iraq though). Then in February he got a new car and decided to drive 9 hours to come meet me. We spent a weekend together (my parents randomly offered to let this stranger stay at our house..odd but turned out well). Ever since then, he\'s come down a few times when he can, which isn\'t often, but we talk on webcam every day and text and call throughout the day. The past week he took leave to come see me, and we LOVED every minute of it. He is amazing, and it is really hard not being around him like I was able to be recently. But I feel like he is definitely worth waiting for seeing as how much fun we had, how much he understands me, and how well we get along. I feel a little crazy, but I\'ll keep a positive attitude as I enter college (and he gets deployed next year), and if it\'s meant to be, we will be able to make it work. =)
