Long Distance Relationship
Me and Mikes relationship has been definitely and experience. Everyone would tell us that we were to young for this and that it was impossible. Yet we proved them wrong. It wasn't easy. I found that long distance relationships are filled with sleepless nights and a longing to always want more of him. Yes looking back from now to the beginning, we were young. Sophomores in high school. Now that im a senior and ready for the future, i know what i want. I cant say that we haven't broken up once or twice ( more like four), but even when we found someone we were interested in it just didn't cut it. You'll always go back to that person because you don't want to look back thinking " what if". One thing that did wonders was skype. Seriously the best thing for any LDR, its a lifesaver with a cute little name :]. And though im young dont judge us, love sees no color, age, race, or sexuality.

karystarr, one way to think if it is truly for you is to think do you always feel like you will have something to work on/settle for? Some people have to work harder to make relationships work and if they really want to be together have to take than into consideration. Some people aren't truly compatible. But if you really love that person- and if you have been drawn together so many times- perhaps you will need to accept that there might always be something to work on, etc, and suck it up. The alternative- being broken up- didn't seem to work for you : )

You broke up and got back together..my boyfriend and i have done that like, three times and every time we just still feel drawn together...i'm always afraid it will happen again...how did you get through that, what did you think to make yourself believe that this was truly it for you? I could use any little advice now :-)
